Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Circulating Nurse position based in Tysons Corner, VA. The Circulating Nurse will play a critical role in assisting with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care in the operating room. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room for procedures, ensuring surgical equipment is properly sterilized, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate support to patients throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Surgical Nursing, including experience in preoperative and postoperative care
- Proficiency in Perioperative and Operating Room practices
- Strong foundation in Nursing and Medicine, with an active RN license
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in plastic or aesthetic surgery is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent qualification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required
