Our firm is seeking a talented legal professional with three (3) to five(5) years of experience to join our growing team. We are an established mid-size Plaintiff’s firm, focusing mainly on employment law, employment and consumer class actions and Private Attorney General Act (“PAGA”) actions. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze the facts of a case in conjunction with statutory and case law to create effective case strategy and legal argument
- Draft legal documents including memoranda, briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare oral arguments for motions
- Trial preparation
- Attend and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Represent the firm in a positive and professional manner through effective communication with members of the firm, clients, and opposing counsel
- Utilize time management and prioritization skills to independently and efficiently manage a caseload with the support and supervision of a senior attorney
