We are seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator with tilt‑wall specialization to join our in‑office estimating team in Sarasota. This is a senior‑level role for a proven professional—not entry‑level and not remote.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare accurate, competitive tilt‑wall and structural concrete estimates
- Perform detailed takeoffs for concrete, rebar, embeds, forming, erection, and crane picks
- Analyze drawings, specifications, addenda, soils reports, and schedules
- Develop pricing aligned with company labor, equipment, and production rates
- Work closely with leadership, field teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and value‑engineering opportunities
- Support preconstruction efforts including site walks, RFIs, and bid reviews
- Maintain organized estimate files, bid logs, and historical cost data
What We Require (Non‑Negotiable)
- 4–5 years of proven tilt‑wall estimating experience
- Strong background in Florida structural concrete
- Deep knowledge of panel counts, rebar tonnage, embeds, sequencing, and erection
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, On‑Screen Takeoff, or similar tools
- Ability to work full‑time in our Sarasota office
- High standards for accuracy, organization, and follow‑through
- Clear communication and professional presence
