Housekeeper
A wonderful client is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their long-tenured team in Bridgehampton, NY.
This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining a luxury home to the highest standards. The role is highly hands-on and requires a strong work ethic, service mindset, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Private home experience is required. An immediate start is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive daily, deep, and seasonal cleaning of the residence, with special care for fine materials and surfaces
- Work collaboratively with other Housekeepers under the guidance of a House Manager
- Assist with laundry and the ironing of clothes and linens
- Help with household tasks like setting tables, meal prep, and clean-up when requested by the family's chef
- Run occasional household errands as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private, high-end home or as a yacht steward/stewardess.
- Excellent, verifiable references
- Outstanding hands-on cleaning skills with a strong eye for detail
- Ability to anticipate the family's needs while maintaining a professional and discreet presence.
- Strong English communication skills
- Service mindset and ability
- Enjoys a team-oriented environment
Schedule:
- Off-season, Monday to Friday, approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The principals are happy to consider candidates who prefer and earlier start

- Hours may vary to accommodate the family's schedule
- The ability to work some weekends to assist with entertaining is essential during the summer season
Compensation:
- Excellent base compensation of $50/hour depending on experience and qualifications
