Your Contribution
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual US income tax provisions under ASC 740 and German GAAP
- Prepare and review deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, return-to-provision reconciliations, and valuation allowances.
- Support global tax reporting requirements by consolidating and communicating US tax provision data to the parent company in Germany.
- Maintain and document tax attributes such as net operating losses, tax credits, 163J carryforward.
- Prepare and review international tax computations for provision and budgeting, including BEAT, GILTI, and FDII. (and OBBBA updates)
- Collaborate with external advisors and internal finance teams to ensure alignment of tax provision and compliance processes.
- Monitor and interpret changes in US tax legislation and assess their impact on tax accounting and reporting.
- Assist in preparing tax-related disclosures for internal financial statements and global reporting packages.
- Contribute to tax forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning related to tax expense and cash taxes.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and technical support as needed.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives using ONESOURCE, SAP, and other tax technologies.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MS in Taxation or CPA preferred.
- 4 years of experience in US income tax provision and compliance, ideally within a multinational corporation or Big 4 firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740 and US federal and state income tax laws.
- Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision and SAP is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
