Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Summer Intern to support our Sales team during the summer term. This internship provides hands-on exposure to customer engagement, lead generation, sales coordination, and CRM management within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Assist in identifying and researching potential customers and market segments.
- Support outbound outreach efforts through calls and emails to generate qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in the CRM system.
Sales Support & Coordination
- Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Support order processing and follow-up with customers regarding inquiries.
- Coordinate internally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth sales processes.
Customer Relationship Management
- Help manage and update customer databases.
- Support follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in tracking sales metrics and preparing performance reports.
Market Research & Reporting
- Conduct competitor analysis and pricing research.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of coursework completed at a 4-year university.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in speaking with customers and conducting outreach calls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
