Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies as needed
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with light food handling duties
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials to uphold sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for food service
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
