What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tanker Driver position at MAGO Construction Company, LLC?
Mago Construction Company is a family-owned asphalt paving contractor based out of Bardstown, KY with asphalt plants, two rock quarries, and construction operations throughout the state of Kentucky.
We seek to add an experienced and motivated Class A CDL driver with Tanker Endorsement for our liquid asphalt transport. This tanker driver is a critical role here at Mago. This driver must be reliable, safety-conscious, and attentive, as maintaining required paperwork and the truck itself are daily responsibilities. Routes are in-state only and drivers are home nightly.
Class A CDL
- Performs all work adhering to OSHA and Company Safety policy.
- Drives truck to destination. Prepares receipts for load picked up.
- Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations and company policy.
- Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
- Loads and unloads truck.
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Performs daily pre and post trip of vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
