Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, equipment, forklifts, and water trucks safely and efficiently on-site
- Support the loading, unloading, and transportation of quarry materials using appropriate equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance in accordance with MSHA standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with general construction site tasks including site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
- Support the setup and breakdown of construction zones, ensuring all safety measures are followed
- Support mechanics and operators with repairs and maintenance
