What You'll Do
- Build and optimize P&D routes using routing and dispatch software
- Dispatch drivers and ensure routes are efficient and on schedule
- Ensure all paperwork and shipment data are accurate and processed correctly
- Identify and resolve routing issues or discrepancies
- Coordinate appointments and special handling of freight to ensure successful delivery
- Verify communication between dock staff, drivers, and operations teams regarding freight issues
- Share dock and operational performance insights with leadership
- Promote a safe work environment and enforce company policies
- Support daily operations and perform additional duties as needed
