Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans efficiently
- Ensure all kitchen items are sanitized and stored according to health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas
- Assist with removal of trash and recycling from kitchen and restaurant areas
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and prep tasks as needed
- Restock clean dishes and kitchen supplies in designated storage areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
