Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Technician based in Magnolia, AR. The Medical Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, process and analyze biological specimens, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of results. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, adhering to quality control protocols, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic insights.
Qualifications
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine practices
- Strong Laboratory Skills and familiarity with the operation and maintenance of Laboratory Equipment
- Experience in conducting Quality Control procedures and ensuring compliance with standards
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) preferred
- Associate degree or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of infection control practices is a plus
