Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Technician located in Magnolia, AR. The Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist will conduct sample testing and analysis, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensure adherence to quality control standards, and assist in advancing laboratory medicine practices. The individual will also be responsible for contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of lab operations to support excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine
- Strong Laboratory Skills, including sample testing and analysis
- Experience ensuring Quality Control and accuracy in laboratory processes
- Knowledge of Laboratory Equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to clinical safety standards
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent is required
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical laboratory setting is advantageous
