As a Dental Assistant / EDDA at Magnolia Dental, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the dentist chairside with restorative, surgical, and general dentistry procedures.
• Anticipating provider needs to keep procedures efficient and stress-free.
• Preparing and breaking down treatment rooms with meticulous attention to detail and infection control.
• Taking high-quality dental radiographs and impressions.
• Educating patients on procedures, home care, and post-op instructions.
• Maintaining accurate clinical notes and patient records.
• Ensuring instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and organized.
• Managing clinical supplies and keeping treatment rooms fully stocked.
• Being an active, trusted member of a collaborative dental team.

We’re looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (EDDA strongly preferred).
• X-ray certification (required).
• Solid understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and teammates.
• Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with OpenDental is a plus, but not required.
