Associate Designer (Hybrid)

Role: As an Associate Designer with Magnolia Bakery, you will work with the Creative Lead and other team members on a range of projects that unlock growth for the company. This role emphasizes the adaptation of band guidelines and campaigns, across multiple channels –retail stores, ecommerce, marketing/communications, internal communications, product development, packaging, experience design, partnerships and more! There are also opportunities to contribute to concepting and deliver visionary design work as needed. Leveraging your design skills, you will help bridge the connection between creative and business needs to meet Magnolia Bakery’s objectives. This position is designated hybrid, in office a minimum of 3 days.Key Responsibilities · Adapt holistic campaigns and designs from start to finish that align with the MagnoliaBakery brand across all creative touchpoints: print and digital marketing, OOH,merch, experiences/events, influencer kits, animation/video, photography, packaging,etc.· Create playbook guidance for store teams to ensure seamless execution of monthlyofferings each month.· Develop packaging needs as it relates to the bakery and online ordering labelingneeds.· Support in concepting and brainstorming for all channels by leveraging skills such asrendering/sketching, illustration and storytelling.· Contribute to planning for photoshoots ensuring that content captured will performwell once used in creative and participate on set with photographers, food and propstylists.· Provide input to creative meetings and share ideas that help grow Magnolia Bakery’sbusiness.· Maintain strong file organization and naming conventions on final assets· Stay apprised of design trends and competitive research to inform all workstreams.· Communicate with senior team members to receive and implement feedback.· Contribute to conversations with external partners and other team members as itrelates to fabrication and execution of specific design elements.Qualifications & Ingredients for Success· BA or BFA in graphic design, visual communication, or any relevant field of study.· Must have a creative/design portfolio· A background of working as part of a design team, minimum 1 plus years of experience in a design-focused role or design internship experience· Working knowledge in industry design software; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Aftereffects.· Experience with collaboration platforms such as Miro is a nice to have· Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colors and layout.· The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.· The ability to see projects through from inception to production.· Consistency in execution regardless of project size.· Must have a passion for all things design and believe in elevating brands through it.· Experience in proposing and pitching new ideas.· Must have the ability to collaborate with the broader Marketing team.· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Salary : $66,300 - $80,000
