Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/PSS professionals for contract positions to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient observation and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and well-being
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and update care plans regularly
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate first aid or CPR when required
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient support and adherence to prescribed care plans
Experience
- Prior experience in home health, hospice care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's/dementia care, autism spectrum disorders, or long-term care settings is advantageous
- Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are a plus but can be provided during training if necessary
- Strong communication skills and patience are essential for working effectively with clients and their families
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and work independently in a home or community setting
