About the role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join the magniX Team, which is responsible for the production of our Electric Powertrain products, including Energy Storage Solutions, Power Electronics, and Motors. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes, designing tooling, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records within our ERP system.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, documentation, and tooling to produce aerospace powertrain components.
- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize assemblies and part designs for manufacturability.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield, reduce cycle times, and lower production costs.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Support the development of new powertrain technologies and products.
- Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
- Manage manufacturing bills of materials and item master data in the ERP system.
- Create manufacturing planning, work orders, and job routers/travelers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or similar engineering discipline.
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies for electric motors, power electronics, and/or li-ion batteries.
- Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of SAP or other similar ERP systems.
- Familiarity with FAA regulatory environments.
Location: Applicants must be willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington.

Salary Range: $100k - $145k
