Data Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven data professional to join our team, responsible for the full lifecycle of data management — from collection and validation to transformation and reporting. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by designing and maintaining robust ETL processes, crafting complex SQL queries, and delivering insightful reports to stakeholders. A key focus of this position involves leveraging SAP data through Power BI and Databricks to develop visually compelling, user-friendly Design & Planning dashboards that enhance transparency and support strategic business oversight.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection, analysis, validation, and cleansing across multiple data sources including databases, manual files, and external websites
• Design, code, test, debug, and document ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures
• Extract and analyze data from relational databases and various internal and external sources
• Respond to data inquiries from cross-functional groups within the organization in a timely and accurate manner
• Create and publish regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports tailored to stakeholder needs
• Document reporting requirements, processes, and data components to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Leverage SAP data through Power BI and Databricks to build and maintain Design & Planning dashboards
• Develop visually compelling, user-friendly dashboards that improve business transparency and support data-driven decision-making
• Validate data components and ensure data integrity across all reporting outputs
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions

Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with ETL design, development, and documentation
• Proficiency with Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization
• Experience working with Databricks for data processing and analytics
• Familiarity with SAP data structures and extraction methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for translating technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software

Experience

• Demonstrated experience working with relational databases in a professional setting
• Proven track record of designing and delivering ETL pipelines and data reporting solutions
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools
• Prior exposure to SAP data environments and cross-functional data analysis
