Custodian/Janitor-Part time

Job Overview
Magic Mountain is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities throughout the Main Base Lodge, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and employees. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with a focus on high standards of neatness and cleanliness.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout Magic's Main Base Lodge.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively within the facility.
• Provide porter services by assisting with rearranging and/or moving furniture or equipment as required.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness in both residential and commercial settings.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or related fields is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
