What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server at The Black Line Tavern position at Magic Mountain Ski Area?
The Black Line Tavern at Magic Mountain is seeking a friendly, energetic bartender/server to join our Team. Primary responsibilities include delivering prompt, friendly service to our customers, presenting menus, serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment, and the ability to work as a team member. We have full time and part time positions available for the Winter Ski seasons. Weekend availability (and some holidays) essential. Server wage is $9.00 an hour plus tips. One year experience required. The snow is HERE!!!
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take and serve orders
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
Skills
- Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
Must be able to lift 25lbs
Walk up and down stairs with trays
Stand for extended periods of time
