Job Description:
Magic Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Mold Remediation Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the restoration and construction industry. While this is considered an entry-level position, some experience with mold remediation, water damage restoration, or construction is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with mold remediation and water damage restoration projects
- Set up containment areas and maintain safe work zones
- Remove and dispose of contaminated materials according to industry standards
- Clean, sanitize, and treat affected areas
- Operate restoration equipment such as air scrubbers, HEPA vacuums, and dehumidifiers
- Follow company safety procedures and industry guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and job site
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients
Requirements:
- Valid California Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in protective equipment (respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, etc.)
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mold remediation, water damage restoration, or some construction experience
- IICRC certification (a plus but not required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
