Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This vital role combines office management with comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Duties
- Handle bookkeeping tasks using software platform, including invoicing, expense tracking, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Support human resources functions such as employee onboarding, training & development, and maintaining personnel records
- Assist with budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and preparing financial reports for management review
- Organize filing systems for medical office management documents, client records, and administrative files
- Supervise clerical staff and provide training to ensure high standards of office etiquette and phone etiquette are maintained
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a professional setting
- Strong bookkeeping skills with proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Prior supervising or team management experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, scheduling, and record keeping
- Knowledge of human resources processes including payroll administration and employee onboarding
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
