About the Role
Magic City Collectibles is seeking a highly creative and execution-focused Social Media Manager & Content Creator to lead our day-to-day content and social presence. This is a hands-on role for someone who can both develop ideas and bring them to life quickly.
You will be responsible for creating engaging, high-performing content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube while helping grow a passionate community around sports cards and Pokémon.
We are looking for someone who creates, films, edits, and publishes content consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish daily/weekly content across social platforms
- Film and edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and long-form YouTube content
- Manage content calendar and scheduling tools
- Identify trends and quickly produce relevant content
- Engage with followers, comments, and messages to build community
- Collaborate on live streams, product drops, and in-store events
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize content strategy
Qualifications
- Experience managing brand or business social media accounts
- Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe etc.)
- Proven ability to create engaging short-form content
- Deep understanding of social media trends and platform algorithms
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and execute quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in/ familiarity with sports cards, pokemon, collectibles
- Familiarity with live selling platforms (Whatnot, Fanatics Live, etc.)
- Photography and basic graphic design skills
