What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lube Technician position at Magic City Auto Group?
Magic City Auto Group in COVINGTON, VA is currently seeking Quick Lube Service Technicians to join our team. This is an entry-level position with the potential for advancement within our service department.
Quick Service Tech duties:
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Documents all work performed on the repair order.
- Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
- Replaces oil and air filters.
- Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary.
- Perform tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
- Check tire pressure and add air as needed.
- The physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position, such as bending and reaching, standing for long periods of time and lifting.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Other tasks as assigned.
