Magic City Ford Lincoln is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team!

As a Body Shop Technician, you will repair collision-damaged vehicles safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs.
- Repair and replace damaged body panels, bumpers, doors, fenders, hoods, and other components.
- Perform metal repair, dent repair, panel alignment, and body repairs.
- Perform automotive welding and structural repairs according to approved procedures.
- Use frame and measuring equipment as needed.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles accurately and efficiently.
- Identify hidden or additional damage and communicate findings to the estimator or Body Shop Manager.
- Maintain proper panel fit, alignment, body lines, and gaps.
- Protect customer vehicles throughout the repair process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with estimators, parts personnel, painters, detailers, and other technicians to complete repairs efficiently.
- Complete quality checks to ensure repairs meet company and manufacturer standards.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Previous professional collision/body repair experience.
- Knowledge of modern vehicle construction and collision repair procedures.
- Ability to safely operate body shop tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
- I-CAR training or certification.
- ASE certifications related to collision repair.
- Automotive welding experience.
- Experience with frame measuring and structural repair equipment.
- Experience using computerized collision estimating systems.
- Previous dealership or collision center experience
