Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales/Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floor covering and construction with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. This role involves collaborating with clients, managing contracts, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, and also playing a crucial role in building relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with client expectations.
- Bidding and estimating of project costs.
- Oversee construction estimating processes to ensure accurate cost control throughout the project.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain quality control.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service.
Requirements
- Proven track record of excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in flooring, construction, measuring, and estimating.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles, including cost control.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain relationships with co-workers.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
