Position Overview
The Fund Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting MWCLT’s fundraising, grant management, and donor engagement efforts. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across departments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in grant reporting, data and record management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Salesforce, and Monday.com.
The Fund Development Coordinator works closely with the Director of Fund Development, Director of Real Estate Development and Operations, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to ensure the organization’s fund development and reporting activities are accurate, timely, and aligned with MWCLT’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Grants and Reporting
- Assist with the preparation, submission, and tracking of grant applications, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain and update grant calendars, deadlines, and reporting schedules.
- Collect and organize data for grant reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funder requirements.
- Support internal coordination of grant deliverables between departments.
- Prepare financial and narrative reports in collaboration with the Fund Development and Real Estate teams.
Data and Systems Management
- Maintain accurate donor, partner, and grant records in SalesforceandMonday.com.
- Generate and analyze fundraising and grant reports using Salesforce dashboards and Excel.
- Support tracking of fundraising performance, grant cycles, and project milestones.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across data management systems.
Administrative and Departmental Support
- Provide direct administrative support to the Director of Fund Development, CEO, and other senior leaders as needed.
- Assist in scheduling, organizing, and coordinating development-related meetings and events.
- Manage digital and physical filing systems for development records and documentation.
- Support creation of materials for donor communications, presentations, newsletter, and reports.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with Real Estate Development, Operations, and Finance teams to align grant data, outcomes, and financial reports.
- Coordinate internal communication to ensure accurate collection and reporting of impact metrics.
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising events and community engagement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fund development, grant management, or nonprofit administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, charts).
- Experience using Salesforce and Monday.com for project and data management.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to track details, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and reports.
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising practices and donor stewardship preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $58,000-$64,000, commensurate with experience
