Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Controller to join our dynamic team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and implementing effective internal controls. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, finance, and leadership, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Internal Controls:
- Develop and implement effective internal control policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Cash Management:
- Oversee cash flow and liquidity management.
- Optimize banking relationships and maintain a strong financial position.
- Audit Coordination:
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Address audit findings and implement recommendations.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, with a track record of financial leadership.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems such as QuickBook.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Korean BI lingual plus
