Job Title: Tooling Expeditor
Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a Tooling Expeditor. This successful incumbent will coordinate the flow of work and tooling between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

- Expedites, routes and dispatches tooling in accordance with production schedules and commitments
- Conveys tool from storage to designated area using forklift or other devices
- Generates reports on parts in storage areas
- Advises management of status of tool availability and potential production problems to ensure that tools are available as needed
- Maintains storage, filing location and condition of all tooling equipment
- Inventory, production support and/or warehousing experience
- Personal drive for process improvements
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with leaders, peers, and others
- Forklift experience
- Experience tracking and reporting status
- Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality basics, engineering flows
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proficient with Excel spreadsheets and MS Outlook
