The Offsite Housekeeping Lead guides a group of employees, manages daily tasks, provides training of new employees, does the schedule in 'When I work' app, and will log sick calls and tardies. The Lead will bridge the gap between employees and senior management. They focus on mentorship, quality control, and keeping projects on track.
- Maintains and assists with updates of all chemicals through SDS online
- Follows Policies and Relias Training
- Ensures detailed cleaning is being completed with the housekeeping logs
- Ensures walk throughs are done once a month with EVS Manager and Supervisor over that building
- Reports any issues to EVS Manager or Night Supervisor
Schedule
- Nights
- Mon-Fri
- 6:00pm-8:00pm
- Read and interpret technical information in English, including chemical labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), instruction sheets, and related documentation.
- Prioritize and organize special projects in alignment with the operational needs and goals of Madisonhealth.
- Understand staffing schedules and manage employee scheduling using the "When I Work" application.
- Communicate clear expectations, make informed decisions, guide and inspire team members, delegate tasks effectively, evaluate staff performance, resolve workplace conflicts, foster accountability, and lead the team through organizational change.
- Previous experience as a shift lead preferred
- Clinical experience is preferred but not required
- Supervisor or any kind of management experience preferred
- High School Graduate
- Must be over 18 years old
- Current driver's license
