Compensation
$68,868.80 – $95,284.80 annually
Salary is established by the current FOP Lodge 9 collective bargaining agreement with Madison Township.
Lateral officers may be eligible for placement at a higher step on the pay scale based on prior law enforcement experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule
The current patrol schedule consists of 8-hour shifts.
Applicants must be available to work day, evening, and overnight shifts as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Possess a current OPOTA certification
- Possess a valid Ohio driver's license
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrate sound judgment and a commitment to ethical conduct
- Maintain a professional and community-oriented approach to law enforcement
