- Accounts Management: Oversee all accounting functions for managed properties and the operating company, including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and note payments.
- Lease Administration: Handle new lease setups, renewals, tenant move-outs, reimbursements, and security deposit refunds.
- Operating Expense Reconciliation: Prepare annual CAM reconciliations for multiple properties.
- Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Budgeting: Develop annual budgets for managed properties.
- Partner Relations: Prepare and distribute quarterly reports and letters to limited partners.
- Collaboration: Work directly with the company President and Portfolio Property Manager, while maintaining strong communication with tenants and bankers.
- Special Projects: Contribute to unique projects that support company growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5 years of experience in commercial property management accounting.
- Familiarity with Sage Timberline preferred (not required).
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and QuickBooks.
- A proactive team player with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
