Duties
- Greet prospective tenants promptly and professionally, providing detailed information about available apartments and community amenities
- Conduct property tours, highlighting features that meet clients’ needs while upselling additional services or lease options
- Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
- Verify applicant information, including legal documentation and Section 8 eligibility, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations
- Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in person with excellent etiquette to build strong relationships and trust
- Maintain meticulous records of leasing activities, data entry, filing, and contract management to ensure seamless administrative operations
- Collaborate with team members on property maintenance issues, leasing goals, and budget adherence to optimize community satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on leasing or rental agreements
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs
- Familiarity with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and customer relationship management software
- Excellent conflict management skills to resolve tenant concerns effectively while maintaining professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for data entry, reporting, and correspondence
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate lease terms and upsell additional services confidently
- Office experience combined with exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to enhance client interactions
