What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Clinic-Mental Health Therapist-(PRN) position at Madison Memorial Hospital?
The Mental Health Therapist will provide mental health counseling in the outpatient clinic for adults and children with acute and/or persistent symptoms of mental illness.

Required Skills:
- Strong leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills, as well as solid oral and written communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude and the flexibility and prioritization abilities to manage a mental health case load, crisis situations, and work tasks in a changing environment.
- Ability to maintain clear boundaries, utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in collaboration with clients and peers.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Mental Health Counseling 1 year (preferred)
Minimum Education:
- Candidate must be licensed in the State of Idaho in one of the following disciplines:
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has training with long term therapy
- Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
