Madison health is seeking to hire a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). An LPN functions in a dependent role; contributes to, participates in, and implements and maintains patient care activities specific to the age and needs of the patient population served in the Acute Medical/Surgical Unit as directed by a Registered Nurse (RN) (also called a Licensed Professional Nurse); ensures quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care; demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.

Education/Certifications:
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Idaho.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience:
- Medical or Nursing experience, preferred.
Required Skills:
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and basic Windows based programs.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
