Senior Associate, Strategic Finance & M&A | Digital Infrastructure Platform | NYC
We're retained by a rapidly growing digital infrastructure platform to hire a Senior Associate within its Strategic Finance & M&A team.
About the Platform
A wholesale, open-access fiber infrastructure platform executing one of the largest fiber expansion strategies in the U.S.
The business is pursuing a dual-track growth strategy, combining large-scale greenfield development with an active M&A program to accelerate expansion. Alongside multiple live billion-dollar acquisitions, the platform is also raising several billion dollars to finance the next stage of growth, creating exceptional exposure to both principal investing and capital markets activity.
The Role
A highly analytical role spanning strategic finance, M&A, capital markets, and corporate strategy.
Working within a lean team, you'll partner directly with senior leadership on some of the company's highest-priority initiatives, gaining exposure well beyond a traditional corporate finance position.
Key responsibilities include:
• Building and maintaining complex financial models across acquisitions, financing, and corporate planning
• Supporting live M&A transactions through valuation, diligence, underwriting, and execution
• Assisting with large-scale capital raising initiatives and financing processes
• Evaluating investment opportunities and acquisition targets
• Preparing board presentations, investment committee materials, and executive reporting
• Performing scenario analysis around capital allocation, financing structures, and strategic initiatives
• Working alongside external investment banks, legal advisors, consultants, and financing counterparties
Candidate Profile
• 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, infrastructure or telecom M&A, strategic finance, corporate development, or infrastructure advisory
• Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities
• Experience supporting M&A transactions or financing processes
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and communication skills
• Interest in digital infrastructure, fiber, and long-term platform building
This is an exceptional opportunity to move to the operator side, gaining exposure across live M&A, multi-billion-dollar capital raises, and long-term corporate strategy within a fast-growing digital infrastructure platform.
