Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading global infrastructure investor with a long-term, value-oriented approach, seeking to add an Associate to a high-performing investment team. The platform focuses on core and core-plus assets across energy transition, transportation, digital infrastructure, and regulated utilities.
This role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, and active asset management, with a focus on large-scale, complex transactions and long-duration assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across infrastructure and energy transition sectors
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation, sensitivities, and scenario analyses
- Conduct in-depth industry research and support thematic investment strategies
- Participate in due diligence processes, coordinating with advisors and internal stakeholders
- Prepare investment committee materials and internal presentations
- Support ongoing portfolio management, including performance monitoring and strategic initiatives
- Engage with management teams, operating partners, and external counterparties
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or infrastructure investing
- Exposure to infrastructure, energy, or real assets strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record (finance, economics, or related field preferred
