Senior Compliance Officer, Regulatory Initiatives

A leading global financial institution that has recently established a new Compliance Regulatory Initiatives team within its U.S. Wholesale Compliance organization. As part of this build-out, they are looking to add a Compliance Officer to support firmwide policy, procedure, and regulatory governance initiatives.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with global compliance, legal, risk, and business stakeholders to develop, maintain, and enhance compliance policies and procedures. The position will focus on policy governance, regulatory-driven enhancements, internal communications, training alignment, and ongoing oversight of policy systems and portals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment.

The role offers broad exposure across the organization and the opportunity to contribute to a growing, visible compliance function focused on strengthening regulatory risk management.

Overview:

• Partner with global stakeholders to build, maintain, and enhance compliance policy and procedure best practices
• Draft and update compliance policies, procedures, and related communications
• Manage compliance communications and ensure training materials align with approved policies
• Serve as a primary contact for policy systems of record, coordinating administration and maintenance
• Support regulatory-driven policy initiatives and formatting enhancements
• Oversee policy portals to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely updates
• Track policy review schedules and respond to status inquiries
• Support special projects as needed
