Overview
A large, globally backed financial institution is seeking a Regulatory Capital & Reporting Advisory Lead to support its U.S. banking, broker-dealer, and holding company entities.
This role sits within a policy and advisory function — not report production — and will focus on interpreting complex U.S. regulatory capital rules, assessing impact of new transactions and products, and guiding stakeholders through evolving capital and liquidity requirements, including upcoming Basel framework changes.
This is a high-visibility opportunity working closely with finance, risk, compliance, and senior leadership in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the regulatory capital and reporting implications of new products, transactions, and balance sheet changes
- Interpret and apply U.S. regulatory capital frameworks (Basel III, CCAR, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, FFIEC call reports, broker-dealer net capital, liquidity reporting including FR 2052a)
- Draft and maintain internal regulatory reporting policies and support implementation of capital rule updates
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve technical reporting questions and document policy interpretations
- Support regulatory change initiatives, governance processes, and capital adequacy oversight
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in regulatory reporting, capital policy, governance, advisory, or Big 4 financial services
- Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory capital frameworks (Basel III, CCAR, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, FFIEC reporting); CFTC reporting experience is a plus
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it relates to regulatory capital
- Experience drafting technical policy documentation or advisory memoranda
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills with ability to interact with senior stakeholders
Salary : $150,000 - $185,000
