An international commercial bank in Midtown Manhattan that is looking to add an "AVP AML Compliance Testing" to their team. This opportunity offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office each week.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and designing the annual and cycle-based Compliance Testing plans.
Contribute to the creation of a risk-based testing methodology.
Execute the annual Compliance Testing plan in alignment with established standards.
Define test scopes and design effective testing strategies and approaches.
Prepare clear, organized workpapers and review peer workpapers to ensure adherence to firm standards.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the Bank and serve as a primary contact regarding testing deliverables, scope, and findings.
Communicate identified deficiencies prior to report issuance and provide credible challenge where appropriate.
Prepare management reports summarizing scope, testing methodology, results, and key findings.
Identify opportunities to enhance monitoring, testing, or training programs.
Support issue management processes, including development and tracking of Compliance-identified findings.
Contribute to transformation and enhancement initiatives to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
