What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher position at Madison Area Educational Special Services Unit?
- Provide effective instruction based on Individual Education Plans to special education students
- Collaborate with staff to develop activities that meet the needs of special education students
- Attend faculty meetings and other professional development programs
- Coordinate and facilitate special education case conferences and effectively communicate with parents/guardians
- Keep detailed documentation of all special education progress monitoring and other required record keeping
- Demonstrate knowledge of state and federal special education law
- Work cooperatively with parents, staff and administration
Salary : $40,000 - $70,000
