Duties
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

- Coordinate project schedules.
- Conduct thorough construction estimating to assess project costs and prepare detailed budgets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Manage communication between owner and senior leadership, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Oversee on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare regular updates and reports regarding project status, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage your respective assistant project manager and project superintendents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial project management within the construction industry with a minimum of 3 years.
- Demonstratable project experience.
- Strong background in construction estimating, managing, and project scheduling techniques.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with teams.
- Prior experience on construction sites is preferred; familiarity with contracts is a plus.
