Fletco Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a solid background as a Superintendent, and proven Project Management experience.
This role requires a sharp business mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the Fletco team. As a Project Manager, you will represent Fletco both internally and externally, ensuring all work is executed in alignment with company policies, procedures, and high standards of quality.
The right candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and evaluate construction projects according to schedule and specifications
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Superintendent duties
- Perform estimating functions including:
- Reviewing scope and specifications
- Code analysis
- Detailed plan evaluation
- Creating schedule of values
- Project scheduling
- Sourcing and vetting subcontractors and suppliers
- Coordinating bonding information
- Manage all phases of project lifecycle:
- Pre-construction organization and planning
- Material takeoffs and ordering
- Project scheduling and operations
- Specification and detail confirmation
- Change order coordination
- Superintendent coordination
- Submittals management
- Client walkthroughs
Requirements & Qualifications
- Preferred: BS in Construction Management or Construction Sciences 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Required: GED or High School Diploma 10 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction, with CMAR and K-12 experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; prior experience with Sage 100, Procore, or other ERP systems a plus
- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset, adaptable and calm under pressure
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software
