Job Summary
Specific Coach duties include, but are not limited to: Program Leadership: Serve as a Coach for the designated athletic sport. Culture & Vision: Develop a positive team culture and provide the overall direction and vision for the assigned program. Skill Development: Develop individual student-athlete skill sets, techniques, and tactical strategies necessary for overall team improvement and success. Strategy & Instruction: Develop and communicate team strategies; provide instruction for student-athletes in the consistent execution of those strategies. Preparation: Manage comprehensive game, match, or event planning and strategy review in preparation for competition. Conditioning: Establish and oversee off-season weight training, conditioning, and player development programs. Compliance: Ensure that all rules and regulations regarding student conduct and eligibility are clearly communicated and strictly followed. Relationship Management: Communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members, parents, the athletic department, administration, teachers, other coaches, officials, and opponents. Professionalism: Maintain all required coaching certifications and complete all administrative forms and documentation in a timely manner.
