Screen Print Technician for Testing at MADE Laboratory

MADE Laboratory is looking for a We are looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of apparel decoration, thrives on problem-solving, and loves geeking out over quality and process. This isn’t a production job, but your 5 years of hands-on experience with screen printing, heat transfer, DTG, and embroidery will be used daily in testing, analyzing, and improving the way apparel is decorated across the industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Lab Testing & Evaluation

• Put apparel decoration methods to the test using the latest equipment in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled laboratory
• Evaluate quality of test samples for screen print, heat transfer, DTG and embroidery 
• Experiment, document, and troubleshoot processes to help brands and suppliers improve their products

Data & Reporting

• Capture test results, document findings, and create reports that help companies make real improvements
• Take high-quality photos of test samples for documentation and reporting

Industry Impact & Continuous Learning

• Stay ahead of the curve by participating in MADE Laboratory’s industry events, workshops, and testing programs
• Collaborate with some of the biggest names in the apparel industry to refine and innovate decoration techniques

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of apparel decoration experience, including screen-printing, heat-transfer, direct-to-garment printing, and embroidery
• Skills
• Proficiency in various apparel decoration techniques, including screen-printing, heat-transfer, direct-to-garment printing, and embroidery
• Ability to pass a color test
• Attention to detail: A keen eye for subtle differences in color and texture
• Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Proficient in data entry and documentation in a Mac environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• You’re meticulous and can follow standard operating procedures like a pro
