Join our vibrant team as a Host and be the welcoming face of our establishment! In this energetic role, you will create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining or hospitality experience. As a Host, you’ll manage reservations, greet guests with a positive attitude, and ensure smooth seating flow—all while maintaining a lively and professional environment that keeps our guests excited to return. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your customer service skills in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where every day is different!

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating arrangements
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow
• Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with seating arrangements during busy periods
• Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming environment
• Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, escalating issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality environments preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards is a plus
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not required
• Must be able to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods throughout shifts
