What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Clerk position at Maddie's Motor Sports?
A Title Clerk at Maddie's Motor Sports is responsible for preparing paperwork with our Finance Manager to complete vehicle sales at our location in Newfield, NY location. This position also maintains the vehicle inventory in the dealership. The position requires a person with a strong sales process and willing to learn new techniques. Also, excellent computer skills are a must. Travel for training period is required.
Powersports Title Clerk - Essential Duties
- Bill out all deals including retail sales and dealer trades
- Break down deals to send proper documents to banks
- Upload rebate incentive claims for reimbursement
- Stock in used/new vehicles into inventory, file keys MSO's required
- Keep log of inventory
- Update the NYS book of registry
- Edit and process all DMV work and send to DMV for completion
- Prepare registrations returned from DMV to send to customers
- Prepare any In-Transit paperwork when necessary
- Maintain office, finance and DMV supplies
- Reconcile cash drawer
Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Ability to work evenings and Saturday’s
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail Oriented
- Will be trained on dealership computer systems
- Professional personal appearance
- Ability to work and communicate well with customers and employees
- Punctual, consistent, and reliable attendance is essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
