Conveyor Belt Laborer

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Conveyor Belt Helper to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy industrial conveyor systems in Tacoma, WA. This role is both field and shop work, working under experienced technicians in industrial environments. It’s a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who’s ready to learn, work hard, and grow in the conveyor belt industry.Pay: $20–$25/hr DOESchedule: Monday–Friday, Field Work (overtime as needed)Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty conveyor belt systemsSupport setup and teardown of conveyor components such as rollers, pulleys, motors, and tensionersMeasure, cut, and assist with splicing conveyor belts per project specificationsOperate basic hand and power tools including wrenches, drills, cutting tools, and hoisting devicesPrepare job sites by clearing work areas and ensuring safety procedures are followedAssist with inspections of conveyor systems for wear or damageTransport materials and equipment to and from job sites, including heavy liftingWork closely with installation crews to meet project timelinesFollow all safety policies and site-specific proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorWhat You BringMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial systemsBasic knowledge of hand and power toolsAbility to lift and carry materials up to 100 lbsComfort working in physically demanding environmentsAbility to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditionsStrong teamwork, communication skills, and a safety-first mindsetFlexibility to work overtime, weekends, and travel as neededMaybe You HavePrevious experience in mechanical installation, construction, or industrial laborExposure to conveyor systems, mining, manufacturing, or warehouse environmentsForklift or rigging experienceBenefitsMedical insurancePaid sick timeHoliday pay401(k) with company matchWork Environment This is a physically demanding, field-based position in industrial environments.
