About the Role
In this role, you will ensure the provision of an efficient, effective, and highly customer focused flexible FM service, ensuring professional and proactive management of the properties and facilities support services.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day delivery of facilities hard and soft services through dedicated suppliers and ensuring the highest standards as detailed in the scope of works.
You will deliver excellent customer service and exceed expectations, with relationship management of key stakeholders and all personnel being of utmost importance. You will also line manage a team of facility managers/assistants.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Manage and delegate appropriate workload and assignments to the FM team, while motivating, mentoring, and supporting career development.
- Provide innovation, leadership, business development, and best practices to the service provision across their regional portfolio.
- Manage the relationship with all service providers and provide support to the FM teams.
- Deliver excellent customer service to exceed expectations.
- Engage in strategic planning and continuous re-engineering of the supply chain and service standards.
- Manage relationship key stakeholders and personnel.
- Process and management information design and delivery.
- Implement best practice procedures in line with Macro’s company policy and specified standards for technical standards.
- Manage and audit best practice procedures in line with Macro and the client’s specified standards and regulations.
- Ensure a high level of service through robust management of suppliers and measurement of performance.
- Ensure that suppliers and sub-contractors carry out tasks in accordance with planned maintenance regimes.
- Analyse the performance of specialist suppliers and identify alternative strategies where appropriate.
- Ensure risk management, HSE, site safety, audits, and inspections are completed and compliant.
- Take a proactive approach and involvement in services review and the development of best practices and implementation
- Ensure all site personnel are adequately experienced, qualified, and trained.
- Ensure site personnel are familiar with and have access to all relevant Macro management system documentation and instructions.
About You
The ideal candidate should have:
- Effective relationship management skills and experience.
- Project Management experience or qualification (e.g. PRINCE2).
- Good understanding of FM services and technical compliance management.
- Project management experience.
- Good communicator and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Negotiating and influencing skills.
- Ability to accept change and work flexibly.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Pragmatism and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and develop engineering skills and competencies.
Desired:
- Technical Certificate/engineering focus on mechanical or electrical component.
- Qualification or experience in environment/sustainability field.
- Recognised HS&E qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH).
- Professional qualification or business-related degree.
Salary is $100,000 annually.
