Are you passionate about supporting emergency responders and ensuring their life-saving tools are ready when it matters most? Join our team at MacQueen as a Emergency Equipment Service Specialist, where your work directly impacts the safety and performance of fire departments across the region.

In this hands-on role, you'll be the trusted expert responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vital personal safety and rescue equipment—including extrication tools, SCBA units, breathing air compressors, and more. Whether you're conducting preventative maintenance on-site at a fire department or troubleshooting complex equipment issues, your technical skills and attention to detail will help keep our communities protected.

Essential Duties

• Review service documents and product improvement and support programs and serve as the primary point of contact when technical support or intervention is needed.
• Performs Annual Extrication Tool and Pump Preventative Maintenance and Repairs.
• Performs Annual Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on Breathing Air Compressors.
• Performs Annual SCBA Flowtest Certification and Repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Essential Qualifications

• 2 years direct experience or 5 years industry experience in a related industry
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detail.
• Proficient usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.
  
  

ADA Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move frequently
• Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
• Occasional climbing to reach areas on equipment or racks.
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs occasionally, >20 lbs frequently.
• Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
• Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
• Frequent travel within assigned territory
